A new era for the Howard Theatre

Before the Apollo, before the Regal, there was the Howard Theatre

The famed Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, at the corner of 7th & T Streets, launched the careers of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack and many many others. The theatre will be undergoing a 28- million dollar renovation, just in time to celebrate its 100 year anniversary. This crown gem hopes to bring back the the art and soul back to the District.
