Activist and Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker, who made it her life-long mission to find a cure after her sister (Susan G. Komen) succumbed to breast cancer, came to the event to personally thank Washington, DC's news women for their support.
Held at the Ritz Carlton - Georgetown, the event donated 100% of proceeds to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
